CoLab Plug&Play participated at the 4th eHealth Security conference
The 4th eHealth Security conference organised by ENISA in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport took place on the 14th of November and Colab Plug&Play was invited to speak addressing the subject of how datastandards, IT-security and innovation can go hand-in-hand in healthcare.
The conference featured speakers from some of the DG’s under EU as well as representatives from other public organisations working with cyber security and healthcare. Both the NIS directive, GDPR and the medical device directive was addressed and dicussed eagerly amongst the participants. Particularly when the debate turned on the subject of blockchain and weather there is a need for this in healthcare.
Katrine Vedel, manager of Colab Plug&Play gave a short introduction to the digitalisation and use of data in Danish healthcare and the Region of Southern Denmark. She then spoke in more detail about Colab Plug&Play and the many exciting projects and activities that take place here. Her presentation was well received and met with a positive response from the audience.
